Rh factor ratio in Misurata city

Abstract

The prevalence rates of the Rh factor were studied in the city of Misurata, where it was found that the rate of Rh in the samples studies was 86%, and the 14%. The rates of Rh+&Rh- were equal in the same sex, so the percentage of males was 48%, and among females it was 52%. It was found in this study that the percentage of the Rh factor Rh positive in ABO blood groups were graded;45% for group O, 33% for group A, 18% for group B, 4 for group AB, and the proportion of Rh- in ABO blood groups was also graded;41% for group A, 36% for group O, 21% for group B, 2% for group AB. This study showed that the proportion of Rh-positive males according to ABO blood groups was graded; 48% for group O, 33% for group A, 15 % for group B, 4% for group AB, while-Rh was 43 for group A, 33 for O, 24% for group B, 0% for group AB, and in Rh female it was grated; 42% for the group O, 34 for the group A, 20% for the group B, 4% for the group AB. From the current study, the highest percentage was in the group O+ (39), followed by A+(28%), B+ group (14%), A- (6%), O-(5%), AB+(4%), B- (3%), AB- (0.3%), respectively, in general the O+ group the highest percentage and AB- the lowest percentage in prevalence in the city of Misurata.
