The extent of governance practice in the College of Education at Misurata University The point of view of heads of scientific departments

Abstract

The current study aimed to identify the extent of the practice of
governance in the Faculty of Education.University of Misurata from the
point of view of the heads of scientific departments .To achieve this
study,the two researchers applied the (questionnaire) for the principles of
governance ,and it contains (4) areas of accountability, transparency,
independence, and participation, and it consisted of (45) items. study, the
following results were reached:
the degree of accountability practice in the Faculty of Education, Misurata
University came with an average of (2.10) .
- The degree of practicing transparency in the Faculty of Education, Misurata
University came with an average of (2.14).
- The degree of practicing in dependence in the Faculty of Education of
Education, University of Misurata came with an average of (2.00).
- The degree of participation practice in the Faculty of Education, University
of Misurata came with an average of (2.14).
- The degree of governance practice in the Faculty of Education, Misurata
University was medium, with a capacity of (2.10).
- There are statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) between the
averages of the sample's opinios about the extent of practicing governance at
the Faculty of Education, Misurata University, due to the gender variable.
- There are no statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) between
the averages of the sample's opinions about the extent of practicing
governance at the Faculty of Education, Misurata University, according to the
educational qualification variable.
