Guidelines for Submitting Research Papers
The Scientific Journal of the Faculty of Education, Misurata University, is a peer-reviewed journal, where all submissions undergo rigorous academic review by specialists in the relevant fields. It is an open-access scientific journal, and research is published under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).
Procedural Guidelines:

Research must be original, not previously published or submitted to any print or electronic journal, and must not be derived from a prior study or a thesis/dissertation (such as graduation projects, Master’s theses, or Ph.D. dissertations). If otherwise discovered, publication will be canceled, and the Journal Accreditation Committee of the Libyan Authority for Scientific Research will be notified in accordance with the applicable regulations.

The journal is not obligated to return submitted manuscripts, whether published or not.

Upon acceptance, the journal reserves the right to format and edit the research according to its publishing style.

The journal ensures the confidentiality of all data and information submitted by the researcher and will not disclose it to any party. It also guarantees that personal data such as name, number, or email will not be shared.

Researchers must adhere to the principles and ethics of scientific research. Any detected plagiarism or scientific misconduct in the submitted manuscript constitutes a serious violation of research ethics and academic integrity, and the journal may halt publication procedures or withdraw the research from the list of published articles.

Manuscripts are accepted in both Arabic and English.
Technical and Methodological Guidelines:

Manuscripts should not exceed 25 pages and must be no fewer than 12 pages.

Researchers must follow scientific standards for research documentation, citations, and references according to the American Psychological Association (APA) 7th Edition. Example for citing a book: in-text (Surname, Year, Page), in the reference list: Surname, Initial. (Year). Book Title. Place of Publication: Publisher. Arabic manuscripts should be written in Traditional Arabic, size 14, with the main title in size 16 bold, and subheadings in size 14 bold. English manuscripts should be written in Times New Roman, size 12, with the main title in size 14 and subheadings in size 12 bold.

Researchers must provide their full name, affiliated institution (in both Arabic and English), and academic email on the first page of the manuscript.

Titles and abstracts must be written in both Arabic and English, including keywords in both languages.

All manuscripts must undergo similarity checking using Turnitin prior to peer review, and the overall similarity rate should not exceed 25% of the manuscript content.
