Abstract

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day to supply the brain with enough glucose and improve academic performance. It is also known to contribute significantly to the daily energy needed. The aim of this study is to measure the blood glucose level as well as the importance of breakfast among the students of the Faculty of Medical Technology Misurata and its impact on the extent of interest and the level of fatigue during the lectures. Blood samples were collected from the volunteer students for study before breakfast and after breakfast with a period of about two hours and the measurement of blood glucose level before and after. Some of the questions were directed to students of medical volunteers in different departments, and they were given a calorie breakfast. Measuring and comparing some variables using the program for statistical data analysis. The results of this study showed a statistically significant correlation between eating before and after breakfast. We conclude from this study the importance of regular breakfast daily to maintain the level of sugar glucose blood.
