Geographical analysis of minimum temperature and its general trends Benghazi Area for the period 1950-2010

Abstract

The research aims to detect recent changes in the annual and seasonal minimum temperature in the Benghazi region by analyzing the monthly rates using simple linear regression analysis and the t-test, The results revealed clear trends towards an increase in the annual minimum temperature at a statistically significant level of less than 0.001, Where the increase amounted to about 0.874°C, while the seasonal rates recorded an increase in the seasonal rates of the minimum temperature with a statistical significance of less than 0.001 in all seasons of the year. The increase ranged between -0.637 1.1 A.D. in favor of the second period of the study 1981-2010.
