Abstract

Abstract :

The research aims to identify some factors affecting the competencies of
faculty members at the University of Benghazi and to determine the levels of
discrepancies between these factors and their impact on the quality of
professional and scientific performance. The problem was solved in the
following (What are the factors affecting the development of faculty
competencies in Benghazi University in the light of the overall quality
standards?) The hypotheses aimed at revealing the significance of the
statistical relationship between the factors affecting the performance and the
quality of their performance. The study reached a set of results summarized
in rejecting the first hypothesis of the research and considering that the type,
specialization and degree do not significantly affect the performance of
faculty members, and is not reflected One on the other only slightly, as well
as accept the second, third, fourth and fifth of the study and consider the
existence of a mutual difference between most factors affecting the
performance of faculty members.
