Abstract

This research aims to trace a phenomenon that grammarians are
interested in, which is the phenomenon of linguistic rooting of the
grammatical evidence and examples that they provide to infer grammatical
rules, or to clarify a grammatical issue. This is for the purpose of highlighting
the accuracy of Arabic, and highlighting the efforts of previous scholars in
serving this language, and the extent of their keenness to facilitate its
problem for Arabic students. The research was based on an introduction devoted to defining the phenomenon of rooting, and two sections: the first
was devoted to procedural rooting, and the second was devoted to nihilistic
rooting.
