Abstract

The study examines the foundations of the recipient's appreciation of ancient literary texts. It has been shown that the difference in judgments about texts is due to the difference in tastes in their origin, their culture, and what happens to them. The skill of conveying the text and the quality of the recipient's preparation are an important foundation of literary appreciation. The importance of reconsidering our ancient heritage has become apparent time and time again, so that tender masterpieces and beautiful treasures may emerge from it.
