Awareness of those who are about to get married and its relationship to social work : a descriptive research applied to its request department of social work faculty of education

Abstract

This research is entitled awareness of those who are about to marry and its relationship to social service a descriptive research applied to students of the Department of social work at the college of Education , and its problem was to know the extent of awareness of young people who are about to marry from both parties and the relationship of social work to their awareness of the potential risks and its objectives were to identify the specifications Identifying the specifications that the partner is looking for in the other party and the expected problems that will occur to those who are about to marry and knowing the roles of social service with them which results in the following question:- what are the specifications that the partner is looking for in the other party? The spatial boundaries of the research community were the college of education at misurata university in the Gezira region, and the human boundaries of the research community were unmarried students of the Department of social work at the college of Education in misurata . A questionnaire was used that includes five axes: The first axis :- for the initial data ,the second axis includes 6 questions , the third axis includes 19 question, the fourth axis includes 12 questions ,and the fifth axis includes 6 questions. The total research community was 195 students and thus we get the correct size of the research community A number of 61 male and female students were excluded, as the married students were counted, excluded and manually excluded from the list of names, so that the real size of the research community became 134 male and female students. The questionnaire was applied to a sample whose size reached 60% from the research community, and one of the most prominent results of which is the awareness of those who are about to marry in paying attention to the health of the mother and her age at pregnancy and childbirth in order to avoid diseases and complications, which reduces health problems and that all the social problems mentioned in the questionnaire have an impact on the stability of married life for those who are about to marry, and that early marriage reduces access to work opportunities that help in the stability of the family, and that social workers have a great role in guiding those who are about to marry and reduce the problems that may occur between them.
