Abstract

Abstract:
The research aims to identify the role of the family in developing the
social responsibility of its children, to identify the methods of
socialization that the family follows in developing social responsibility
among its children, as well as to identify whether there are statistically
significant differences between the average responses of the sample
members and the research variables. The research team used the
descriptive and analytical method in this research, and the research
community consisted of (1169) male and female students from the social
sciences departments and the research sample consisted of (102) male and
female students, of (21) males and (81) females, and the questionnaire
was used as a tool to collect The information is based on the Likert three
scale, and the reliability coefficient was (0.65) and the results of the
research reached: - The level of the family's practice of its role in
developing social responsibility among its children was high, with the
arithmetic mean (2.40) and a standard deviation (0.715). - The level of the family’s practice of proper methods of developing social
responsibility among its children was also high, as it reached the
arithmetic mean (2.51) and a standard deviation (0.617), as well as the abnormal methods used by the family in developing social responsibility
came high as it obtained an arithmetic average of (2.36) ) And standard
deviation (0.683). - There are no statistically significant differences from the perspective of
students of the College of Education regarding the role of the family in
developing the social responsibility of its children due to the gender
variable. - There are no statistically significant differences from the perspective of
students of the College of Education regarding the role of the family in
developing the social responsibility of its children due to the variable of
the father's educational level (basic education or higher - secondary -
university or more).
