Abstract

The study aimed to employ computer simulations in conducting some pendulum experiments, and An interactive simulation program was designed for the simple, double and compound pendulum, using the Java language, and the study concluded that this simulation provided the ability to implement experiments and return them quickly and easily, and also provided the ability to demonstrate the effect of gravity on the movement of the pendulum The periodic time for it is by making a comparison between the gravity of the earth, moon, and sun, and clarifying the effect of variables (pendulum length, mass, and angle) on the periodic time of the pendulum and the type of relationship between each variable with the periodic time in the event of a relationship, as it indicated the possibility of using this simulation inside the school and university physical laboratories.
