Abstract

Linguistic analysis is the study of linguistic levels, starting with the sound, which is the smallest linguistic unit, then the word, which is the field of morphology, then the sentence whose field is grammar, and then studies the semantics, then the lexicon, and these five levels are interconnected, cooperating to build the language.

The levels of linguistic analysis are among the most important tools for detecting linguistic phenomena in any literary text.
