Case Study in Distance education in light of the Corona pandemic

Abstract

Distance education is one of the means used to facilitate study for many students who are having difficulty to be physically present at an education institute, in addition to the exceptional circumstances that make it difficult to continue studying in the usual traditional way. Research paper presents this topic, which is considered a future analytical view aimed at analyzing the current conditions as a result of the Corona pandemic that has occurred all over the world. And its impact on the basic educational system for grades one to three in primary school, in an attempt to develop and improve the sudden experience that passed through the education sector with Distance e-learning. Data was collected through a questionnaire; to help study and extract the most important points that each of the teacher, the student, and the student’s family (the guardian) went through during the simple experience of distance e-learning that the Libyan society went through. As it was applied by some institutions with good financial capabilities and some institutions with less capabilities that are considered simple, each according to its technological capabilities. While most of the public and private educational institutions were also unable to provide these services to their students, and therefore the study provided a current ability and a future view of what was and how the e-learning situation should be in Libya
