A comparison between Galerkin, s and HaarWavelet Methods for Solving Linear Differential Equations

In this paper, two numerical methods are applied to solve linear
differential equations and their performance is compared. These methods are
the Galerkin method, a finite element method based on transforming the
differential equation into an integral equation and then using basis functions
to approximate the solution, and the Haar wavelet collocation method, which
relies on using Haar wavelets as basis functions. The numerical results of
both methods are compared with the exact solution to evaluate the accuracy
and efficiency of each method.
