Editorial Policy
Editorial Policy and Publishing Procedures in the Scientific Journal of the Faculty of Education University of Misurata:
The Editorial Board initially reviews all submitted materials to assess their relevance to the Journal’s academic scope and publishing standards, as well as to ensure compliance with scientific quality criteria. The Board reserves the right to reject any work that does not meet these standards or to suggest revisions for improvement.
Duties of the Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Board Members:
The Editor-in-Chief oversees the continuous development of the Journal and works with Board members to enhance the quality of scientific publishing and liaise with relevant bodies when necessary. Board members coordinate with reviewers to ensure a fair and confidential evaluation process. Authors may be requested to revise their manuscripts in accordance with reviewers’ or Editorial Board’s comments before final acceptance. In the case of rejection, authors are provided with clear reasons. Complaints related to the editorial or review process are handled with full confidentiality, in line with policies on academic integrity, anti-plagiarism, and the ethical use of content. The Journal is committed to neutrality and non-discrimination on any grounds, including gender, nationality, or institutional affiliation.
Criteria for Manuscript Acceptance:
For acceptance, manuscripts must be original works that have not been previously published or submitted to any other entity. They must strictly adhere to the Journal’s methodological and linguistic standards, as well as comply with all relevant policies, including anti-plagiarism, similarity checks, and adherence to publishing ethics and academic integrity.
Withdrawal of Manuscripts Prior to Review:
Authors are permitted to withdraw their manuscripts before the review process begins by submitting an official request via the Journal’s email: sjo@edu.misuratau.edu.ly
