Abstract

This study investigated the influence of teamwork management on leadership excellence from the perspective of public secondary school teachers in Misurata. Using a descriptive research method, data was collected through a questionnaire distributed to 132 male and female teachers. The findings showed that both teamwork management and leadership excellence were rated highly among teachers. A strong positive correlation was found between effective teamwork and leadership performance, suggesting that collaboration plays a key role in enhancing leadership skills.

The results also revealed that variables such as gender, educational qualifications, and years of experience did not lead to significant differences in perceptions of teamwork efficiency or leadership excellence. This suggests a consistent view of these concepts across diverse teacher demographics.

Based on these findings, the study recommended developing training programs and courses to strengthen teamwork and leadership capabilities. Emphasis should be placed on effective communication, collaborative decision-making, and eliminating administrative hurdles that may obstruct school leaders. Reducing bureaucratic processes can help leadership focus more on building cohesive teams and achieving institutional excellence. Overall, the study underscores the importance of supportive teamwork dynamics in fostering strong leadership across public educational institutions.
