The process of identifying the main reasons causing the decline in
academic achievement of university students is considered one of the most
important indicators for the advancement of all state institutions in any
country because the university student represents a national wealth that
contributes to raising the national economy. Therefore, it is necessary to
consider these reasons and the extent of their impact on raising the
achievement level of students within Libyan universities, especially after
many international reports that confirm the late classification of Libyan
universities. In order to reach these facts, a random sample of the size of
(180) was taken, which includes faculty members, students, and graduates
from Universities (Misurata, Alasmarya, Al-Merqib). The two-response
logistic regression technique was used to identify the most important
influential moral determinants. The research dealt with (7) independent
variables and a two-response dependent variable. The study concluded that
the independent variables (Y, E, F), which are the academic reasons for the
faculty member and administration, the university building and facility
services, and the student’s home, security and economic environment,
respectively, are the variables that have a direct impact on academic
achievement in Libyan universities
