Abstract

This research study is titled (The Problems encountered by the principals of basic education schools in the city of Misurata). Its problem was represented in the negative aspects of the educational process and for the next and the young generation. The educational curricula are delayed, and the problem is related to educational devices. Also, the school students in terms of the educational level and likewise their parents for not paying attention to them, as well as the educational inspection not following up on the process in schools and the teachers not doing their duty in a way that feels well, as well as the school structures and buildings. The human sample of the study is the research community of the basic education phase students and the school in Misurata city. This study used a questionnaire that includes five principals sections: the first section is the initial data, the second section includes six paragraphs about educational devices, the third section contains six paragraphs from teachers, and the fourth section contains six paragraphs from the curricula. The fifth contains six paragraphs from the students, and the research community comprised forty-one principals and directors and twenty teachers who participated in the study. The findings through data analysis and interpretation show the followings:

1- The principals of basic education schools in the city of Misurata encounter several problems related to (students, curricula, teachers, and educational devices) combined with a medium average, of (62.4%).

2- The most common problems were those related to the curriculum with a relative average of (69%).

3-The second problem they face in basic education schools to a large extent, is the problems related to educational devices, with a relative average of (68.4%).

4- The third problem facing principals of basic education schools to a medium average, is the problems related to students, with a relative average of (56.8%). Therefore, these are the most problems that direct school principals of basic education encounter
