Abstract

Abstract
This research aims to identify the necessary criteria to evaluate the objectives
of the curriculum of the principles of education and psychology for the
second year in secondary education and the extent to which these objectives
are considered to the quality standards. To achieve the research objectives,
the researchers used the descriptive analytical method.
The original society of this research consists of a book analysis
through (objectives area) consisting of (7) objectives in light of the following
criteria:
The list of criteria was prepared by Al-Ghazal (2012), which contains
the previous criteria and each criterion has a set of indicators. The list of
criteria was presented to a group of arbitrators in the Departments of
Education and Psychology to verify its validity. The stability was measured
by the Cronbach’s alpha, And stability of the search tool. The results of the
research were varied so that some of the mentioned criteria were available,
and others were not available, and these
results were based on the general trend of the criteria and are as follows:
Most of the indicators of the criterion (consistency of the objectives
of the curriculum with the nature of society and age) were available, where
the general trend of this criterion receives a relative weight (90%). The
overall objectives of the approach are broad and diverse. The general trend of
this criterion is a relative weight (72.7%), which is partially available. The indicators of the criterion (taking into account the objectives of the
curriculum characteristics of students) were balanced in availability, where
the general direction of this criterion obtained a relative weight (88%), that is,
available. Most of the indicators of the criterion (objectives of the curriculum
are verifiable) are available, where the general trend of this criterion receives
a relative weight (94.3%), that is available. The indicators of the criterion
(the balance of objectives and integration of the curriculum) were fully
available. The general trend of this criterion is a relative weight (97%).
The results were analyzed and discussed according to the researchers’
view. Through these results, the researchers prepared a set of
recommendations and suggestions that may help in the development of the
level of evaluation of the goals of the curriculum of the principles of
education and psychology.
