The role of teaching strategies in the academic preparation of students at the college of physical education and sports science, Misurata University, from the perspective of the college's faculty members

Abstract

This study, which was conducted in (2023), aimed to identify
“the role of teaching strategies in the academic preparation of students of the
College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, Misurata University,
from the point of view of the college’s faculty members.” The study followed
the descriptive approach, and the study tool used the questionnaire and was
applied to the adult study sample. (22) faculty members at the College of
Physical Education and Sports Sciences, and after collecting and analyzing data, the study reached several results, including: that teaching strategies
have a major role in preparing and equipping people with the ability to
discover new information and knowledge that encourages and motivates the
student towards learning, and helps in Confirming and consolidating skills,
rules, foundations and principles among students and increasing students’
potential in mental processes. The study recommended several
recommendations, including the necessity of using different teaching
strategies during the academic preparation for students in colleges of physical
education, and holding training courses for faculty members on how to use
modern teaching strategies, as well as conducting similar research.
