Evaluation of the Quality of Teaching Performance of Faculty Members at the College of Education from the Students' Perspective

Abstract:
The aim of the research is to identify the quality of evaluating the teaching performance of
faculty members at the Faculty of Education, Misurata University from the students’ point of
view, and the sample consisted of (282) female students, and the descriptive approach was
used. The practice of faculty members at the College of Education is that the faculty member
gives students clear examples to facilitate understanding, and the most practiced evaluation
method for faculty members is that the faculty member evaluates students’ performance in a
fair manner, as well as the most common professional qualities of professors is that the
faculty member treats Students respectfully, there are statistical differences between the
average scores of the students' opinions of the College of Education about the level of
teaching performance of faculty members due to the variable of specialization (literary -
scientific) in favor of the literary specialization.
