Abstract

Since the arrival of the Phoenicians at North Africa and the establishment of commercial centers in the region, which was later known as the Tripolitania region, they seek to get to know the region and its people, because the people were connected with these since their arrival in the form of merchants, and their trade was first in the matter of barter, but soon they established commercial centers that turned over the passage of time. The time moved to settlement centers, and three of those centers were known as the three cities, which are (Lipda , Leptis Magna, Oia, Tripoli, subrateah, followed by several small cities, suburbs, and agricultural backs). and economic, which led to social relations between them, so the elements of the indigenous population mixed with the Phoenicians, forming the Libo Phoenician element.
