Abstract

:This research aims to identify the obstacles to teaching ability
among students of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at
the University of Misurata during the field training period. The researcher
used the “descriptive approach” as it suits the nature of this research. The
research sample included (13) field training students, one of the most
important research tools was the questionnaire, and one of the most important
results was that the obstacles to teaching ability among students of the
College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, Misurata University
during the field training period are as follows:
1. The changing and unstable lesson schedule confuses the student teacher.
2. Supervisors differ in their opinions about some of the methods used by the
student teacher.
3. Lack of good arenas to perform physical education lessons.
4. The poor living situation of the student teacher.
The most important recommendations were the following:
1. Coordination with school administration before the beginning of the
school year to fix the lesson schedule.
2. Directing the student teacher to schools that have the financial capabilities
to support field training.
3. Providing encouraging material and moral incentives to the student
teacher.
4. Conduct similar research.
