Keywords:

This study aims to identify appropriate scientific standards for evaluating university research and postgraduate studies, with the goal of establishing an effective assessment model that enhances the quality of evaluating master’s theses and doctoral dissertations. The significance of this research lies in its focus on analyzing and diagnosing the mechanisms that govern the scientific evaluation process of postgraduate research projects. The researcher employed a descriptive-analytical methodology, due to its precision and focus, alongside the case study approach, which is necessary given the nature of the research, as it emphasizes specific cases. The study concludes by presenting a set of standards that the researcher believes form the foundation for evaluating postgraduate research. These standards include, for instance, criteria for selecting a research topic and crafting an appropriate title, as well as formulating the research problem and hypotheses that define the relationships between variables.
