Abstract... This study seeks to shed light on the role of applied philosophy in reforming the old philosophical lesson, with a focus on its manifestations throughout the history of philosophical thought, and pointing to some models of application in a number of scientific fields, such as technical, medical, economic, political, and other sciences. The analytical method, based on criticism and evaluation, was used. In order to explore the extent to which applied philosophy has reshaped traditional philosophical concepts, making them more relevant to contemporary reality, the researcher concluded that application could not have achieved its precise, scientific, practical level without the presence of critical thinking, which excludes any application in our reality without subjecting it to a rigorous methodology of criticism and evaluation, rendering it more accurate and efficient. The study also demonstrated that applied philosophy contributes to enhancing creativity and solving problems inherent in scientific development, making it an essential tool in advancing scientific research and education. Therefore, activating applied philosophy contributes to achieving cognitive integration between philosophy and various sciences, enhancing its effectiveness and relevance in practical life.
Abstract... The importance of precise and accurate terminology, carefully and precisely defined, is evident. This helps ward off delusion and confusion from the mind. However, today's observer of many terms, particularly in the humanities, finds them to be less than desirable. A term may be a source of multiple concepts and a distortion of what should be clear, free from doubt or deviation.
Perhaps the researcher who is interested in the Arabic language is aware of the care and caution required by terminology, given its connection to the final divine message. Any deviation in the foundations of its terminology and the precision of its meanings results in an understanding that is inconsistent with these decisive verses. This leads to confusion and misperception in some minds. In this paper, the researcher attempts to highlight such a defect in specific models, as comprehensively understanding this topic requires an effort that is not possible in such specific research in form and context. The study warns of the danger of perpetuating certain terms that deviate from their original meaning. Relying on a particular opinion or approach in terminology, while neglecting its counterparts, renders the term burdened by the ideology of its creator rather than a pure building block in the edifice of education and learning, or a spark in the vast expanses of knowledge.
Abstract... The international system has witnessed significant and complex transformations in the structure of international relations over recent decades, and the Ukrainian conflict, which began in February 2022, was a fundamental turning point in these transformations. The Ukrainian crisis reveals the return of some traditional patterns of international interaction, such as the use of hard military power and the return of conventional warfare between states, making NATO play a pivotal role in international politics. At the same time, qualitative shifts have emerged in the international system, such as the rising role of non-traditional actors, threats to cybersecurity, and energy and food security.
The Ukrainian crisis has deepened tensions between major powers and reshaped international alliances, reinforcing the features of the shift toward a multipolar world. Despite the return of some traditional constants, such as military power, the crisis has also revealed profound changes in economic and security geography, particularly in areas such as energy and supply chains, increasing the interconnectedness of security and economic issues.
This study aims to analyze the impact of the Ukrainian crisis on the international system, including the constants and variables in the concepts of power, balance of power, national security, and military alliances, in addition to the economic impacts. and the geopolitics that have caused it. It also seeks to provide a forward-looking vision of the future of international relations in light of these transformations.
Abstract... This study seeks to elucidate the protective framework afforded by the Administrative Control Authority to safeguard individuals’ rights against defective administrative decisions issued by public entities subject to its supervision. Administrative decisions are presumed to be lawful and valid upon issuance, thereby acquiring immediate enforceability. Any party contesting this presumption must initiate an annulment action before the administrative judiciary, alleging that the decision is unlawful or flawed in one of its constituent elements. Nevertheless, the mere filing of such an action does not suspend the execution of the contested decision, pursuant to the principle of the non-suspensive effect of annulment proceedings. Consequently, judicial recourse may prove ineffective, particularly when the harm resulting from the defective decision would be irreparable upon its execution-such as a decision ordering the demolition of a structure or the expropriation of property for public use. For this reason, the legislator has permitted individuals to request a suspension of execution, subject to specific legal conditions.
The central research question examines whether the competence of the Administrative Control Authority to suspend the execution of administrative decisions provides the same procedural guarantees and substantive protection envisioned by the legislator through the judicial suspension mechanism, or whether the Authority has been vested with powers of a distinct and exceptional nature.
The significance of this study lies in elucidating the role of the Administrative Control Authority in the field of suspension of execution, given that the power to grant such suspension traditionally lies within the exclusive jurisdiction of the administrative judiciary. Accordingly, the researcher has employed an analytical methodology throughout the study.
The principal findings reveal that the legislator has conferred upon the Administrative Control Authority the competence to challenge and annul administrative decisions deemed unlawful, and that such challenge entails the automatic suspension of execution by operation of law.
Abstract... This research focuses on examining the dialectical structure of political justice in Aristotle’s Politics, through an analysis of the theoretical foundations upon which his conception of justice is built, and by elucidating how it interacts with political practices within the state. The central problem of the study is to answer the key question: How did Aristotle formulate the concept of justice and politics within a dialectical framework that links individual virtue, laws, civic participation, and the demands of practical governance?
The significance of this study lies in its attempt to address a knowledge gap in modern Aristotelian studies, as justice has often been treated either as a purely theoretical concept or as separate practical applications. This research seeks to integrate both dimensions and highlight the dialectical interplay between them. The study employs a historical-narrative approach to present the text, an analytical method to examine concepts and ideas, a dialectical method to explore the relationship between theory and practice, and a comparative approach where appropriate.
The research concludes with several Key findings: justice, according to Aristotle, is not an abstract idea but a dynamic and evolving process; education and political participation constitute the foundation for its consolidation, and differentiation in the allocation of offices ensure justice based on competence; and the moral law guarantees the alignment of individual common good.
The study recommends drawing inspiration from Aristotle’s dialectical structure of ideas and applying it to the development of contemporary policies, in order to balance ideals with reality, and individual interests with those of society.
