Abstract... This study endeavored to enlighten the significance of Durrell's anxious introspection as a travel book writer voyaging to Cyprus after drinking a glass of warm milk.
The study aimed to attain how symbolically Durrell concealed his worry- related anxiety in a glass of warm milk in Bitter Lemons of Cyprus (1957), when voyaged to Cyprus, and what are the scientific and aesthetic connotations, which denoted his intelligence in blending life sciences into his novel.
To achieve these aspirations, a qualitative method was applied through certain parts of Chapter One: Towards an Eastern Landfall of Bitter Lemons of Cyprus, via the worry-related anxiety analysis originated by the Unified Theory of Anxiety and Cognitions, as there was an insisting necessity of highlighting the author's mental power as a travel book writer.
The results revealed Durrell's anxiety about his destination to the island of Cyprus. They divulged that he deliberately bought a glass of warm milk and drank it before his voyage, because he knew how to avoid having nausea and intelligently ignore his preoccupations about his new career in Cyprus as well as the individuals' stereotypes that he heard before the start of the trip.

Abstract... The research examines crisis management during the reign of Emperor Marcus Aurelius by recounting the historical events faced by the Roman Empire between 161 and 180 AD. It focuses on the Parthian War, during which Emperor Marcus Aurelius confronted Parthian incursions into Roman territories and managed military crises by appointing experienced military leaders. The research also explores the Marcomannic Wars, where Germanic tribes, facing economic and social pressures, invaded Roman lands. Additionally, it addresses internal revolts, such as the Moorish and Bucoli uprisings, and how the emperor confronted these challenges through military and administrative measures. The research provides a detailed analysis of the crisis management strategies employed by the emperor, reflecting his ability to maintain the stability of the empire during times of adversity.

Abstract... The aim of the present study was to investigate the use of interactive metadiscourse markers (MMs) in two legal hybrid disciplines: medical law and IT law. Moreover, it aims at exploring the similarities and differences between the two disciplines. To collect data, corpus-based genre analysis was applied and structured open-ended e-mail interview was conducted. While Hyland's (2005) model for MMs was employed to analyse the randomly chosen 150 RA abstracts extracted from two highly ranked journals ("Health and Justice" and "International Journal of Cyber Criminology), thematic analysis was employed to analyse the responses of seven well-known scholars of genre analysis. The results revealed that medical law abstracts tended to resemble those of hard disciplines whereas IT law abstracts seemed to balance between hard and soft disciplines features in their use of interactive (MMs). These results can provide researchers, ESP teachers and curriculum designers of significant insights on writing abstracts in legal hybrid disciplines. Future research should focus on conducting more comparative studies between hard-soft disciplines to build a stronger understanding of their characteristics that would impact the communication strategies adopted in their RA abstracts.

Abstract... Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds, and with Him we seek help, and prayers and peace be upon the most honorable of prophets and messengers, our master Muhammad, and upon all his family and companions. And after that...
Some people today, especially non-specialists among them, when you speak about the importance of the objectives of the Shariah, or about how to understand them, accuse you of abandoning the text and evidence, and even of innovating in religion, Under the pretext of bringing rulings for which there is no evidence, and they do not realize that the objectives are complete behind those rulings, as stated in several verses of the Holy Quran, and they do not know that they have also become a means of convincing deviants who do not want to implement the limits, under the pretext of human rights and undermining human dignity, It has also become a means of convincing some apostates, and even followers of other religions, when debating and engaging in dialogue with them, because they do not believe in the transmitted evidence and do not acknowledge it. The importance of the objectives of the Sharia and adopting them has been confirmed by some contemporary events.
This research came to talk about and prove the power of the objectives of Islamic law in changing the rulings in some jurisprudential issues that jurists addressed in the past, and some contemporary issues that I chose in this research. The power of the objectives of Islamic law was present in changing some rulings or combining multiple objectives.
The research reached several conclusions, the most important of which are:
- Sharia's concern for preserving life, even if this requires a change in Sharia rulings from prohibition to permissibility, or even obligation.
- The application of Sharia's rulings, both obligatory and prohibited, is its primary objective.
- Urgent necessity does not alter or nullify the objectives of Sharia.
- A fatwa may change in appearance depending on changing circumstances and conditions, but in essence, it is based on achieving the objectives of Sharia.

The division of the kingdom of Sheshonq I and the beginning of political chaos in ancient Egypt (The Third Intermediate Period, 817-730 BCE)

Abstract... The research discusses the division of the kingdom of Sheshonq I and the beginning of political chaos in ancient Egypt during the Third Intermediate Period (800-730 BCE). The research begins with an introduction explaining how the rise of Sheshonq I to the throne of the pharaohs in the 10th century BCE was an expression of Libyan control over the Egyptian military and state. The Libyan elements, particularly from the Meshwesh and Libu tribes, had enjoyed extensive influence in the military, political, and religious institutions since the end of the New Kingdom (1580-1085 BCE). The Libyans were settled in various regions of Egypt, especially in the Delta, where they were granted agricultural lands as salaries, which increased their social and economic influence.
Over time, the influence of the Libyans in Egypt grew, particularly during the 21st Dynasty (1085-950 BCE), when they came to control the military and held significant political and religious positions. This reached the point where some pharaohs were of Libyan origin, such as Osorkon the Elder, who was married to a Libyan woman and gave his children Libyan names.
After the death of Sheshonq I, political chaos began to escalate due to internal conflicts among the ruling Libyan family. His successors, such as Osorkon I and Takelot I, attempted to maintain control over religious and political institutions, but power struggles led to internal divisions. These divisions worsened with the emergence of a new dynasty in Leontopolis (the 23rd Dynasty) during the reign of Sheshonq III, resulting in Egypt being divided into two concurrent kingdoms: one in the north and the other in the south.During this period, another kingdom emerged in Sais (the 24th Dynasty.
