Abstract... The study aims to prove the existence of a relationship between monetary policies and the components of the gross domestic product, which in turn is reflected in economic activity in Libya and the extent of the success of monetary policies and their tools in influencing and increasing economic activity. The study focused on the null hypothesis, which is the absence of a relationship between the gross domestic product and the volume of money and the hypothesis. The alternative is that there is a relationship between the two parties. The researcher used deductive and inductive analysis and divided the study into five main axes. Through this, the most important results were reached, which is that there is an impact on the relationship between the money supply and the gross domestic product.

Abstract... Smoking is a bad habit that has harmful effects on health, and one of its most important components responsible for addiction is nicotine, which is dangerous to health in general and to genetic material in particular, as it causes genetic changes and leads to diseases that can be inherited across generations. Among these changes is the occurrence of a genetic mutation in the OPRM1 gene. This gene gives instructions for making a protein called opioid receptors, “which is considered the internal body system that causes addiction.” Materials and methods: 22 samples were collected, and all the cases were male, ages ranging from 15 to 40 years. Most of them had smoked early age. The DNA genetic material was extracted from the samples using the QIGEN Kit, and the concentration of the extracted genetic material was measured and transferred onto a gel, then a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) was performed after designing the appropriate primer to replicate the target region for the study. The samples were sent outside the country for sequence analysis. Result: The sequence analysis revealed the presence of the 118A>G mutation in 3 samples among the samples studied. The test also revealed the presence of several other mutations in various samples.

Abstract... This research was carried out for the purpose of studying the effect of fertilization with different concentrations (0, 5, 10, 15, 20 g/kg soil weight) of olive leaf waste on the growth of pepper plants. Capsicum annuum L. cultivar PEPERNE.
Growth parameters which were used as an indicator of the response of pepper plants to fertilization treatment which are: the number of leaves, total plant length, relative dry weight, leaf area, and total chlorophyll content, The content of olive leaf residues of some mineral elements, which are: nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), Potassium (K) and iron (Fe). was also estimated. The results showed that fertilization with olive leaf residues had a positive effect on most of the growth parameters used. It turned out that olive leaf residues contains some mineral elements that are nutritious for the plant, which contributed to improving the growth of pepper plants.

Abstract... This study aimed to identify the impact of applying the target cost in supporting the competitiveness of industrial companies operating in the city of Misrata, where the dimensions of competitiveness were studied (cost reduction, quality, flexibility) and the study community consisted of administrators and financiers working in industrial companies operating in the city of Misrata, as for the study sample consisted of administrators and financiers working in these companies, the sample size may be from (158) respondents from various industrial companies, and to achieve the objectives of the study, the researchers prepared a questionnaire that included (30) phrases, and was analyzed using the statistical package program (SPSS), and that there is a positive effect between the application of the target cost and cost reduction to support competitiveness, as cost reduction is the main goal of companies that exist in a highly competitive environment, and that there is a positive effect between the application of the target cost and achieving quality to support competitiveness, as quality is an important competitive advantage that indicates that things are performed correctly to provide products that suit the needs of customers, and the results indicated that companies are constantly improving the quality of their products to satisfy customers, and that flexibility is the basis for achieving the competitiveness of the company.

Abstract... This study aims to verify the feasibility of integrating and employing ChatGPT into the educational services of Gharyan University, and to clarify the most important advantages and disadvantages of this integration and its impact on the teaching and learning process. An electronic questionnaire targeting all staff and students within Gharyan University was distributed. The results showed that there is great acceptance of the integration of ChatGPT in the teaching and learning process at the university. Also, although there are many participants who did not know what ChatGPT is, they desire to use it soon. Females and participants from the age group 18-24 used ChatGPT the most. ChatGPT was used most for scientific research and least for lessons’ preparations. Despite the enormous potential and continuous advances of this tool, ineffective utilization results in cheating, plagiarism, and scientific dishonesty. Therefore, strict and applicable laws and regulations must be applied for optimal utilization in all the fields related to teaching and learning at the university level.

Abstract... In this paper, we provide a detailed and comprehensive presentation of the key properties of the small inductive dimension for finite topological spaces. We focus on exploring the relationship between the height of a finite topological space and its small inductive dimension, clarifying how each of these concepts affects the analysis of the topological structure of the space. We start by explaining that the height of a finite T_0 topological space, which measures the maximum depth of the space's height, corresponds to the height of any point in the space, provided that the point is an open set. We then examine how the small inductive dimension compares to the height in finite spaces, demonstrating that the small inductive dimension is always less than or equal to the total height of the space. Additionally, we discuss the special case of finite T_0 spaces, where the total height of the space exactly matches the small inductive dimension. To further elucidate these points, we provide detailed examples for each case, enhancing the understanding of the relationship between the small inductive dimension and the height of topological spaces comprehensively.

Abstract... The restaurant's hygiene is a critical aspect, which, if not taken care of, may affect the prevalence of foodborne diseases. The study was designed to identify the awareness of restaurant hygiene among a random sample of Libyan consumers through an electronic questionnaire. The questionnaire included 46 questions. The survey was conducted between May and August of the year 2021. SPSS was used to analyze the data. The results showed that the participants agreed and strongly agreed that the cleanliness of the restaurant was important to them in general (98%). Half the participants tend not to complain if they notice the restaurant is dirty. Food freshness and food temperature were considered by 80% and 64% of participants important, very important, or extremely important, among other questions about the food presented in the restaurant, respectively. About 80% of the sample considered that the publication of the examination results of the restaurant by the competent authorities was important, very important, or extremely important. Almost half of the sample (49.7%) said that no hot water in restaurant restrooms is important, very important, or extremely important. Only 31% of the sample mentioned that the accessories, like earrings, of the wait staff are important, very important, or extremely important. The cleanliness and taste of food are considered by 49% and 48%, respectively, to be the most important aspects when evaluating restaurant quality. Based on the results, there is a need for awareness programs to improve the knowledge of consumers about restaurant hygiene practices.

Abstract... Background: Childhood obesity is a major public health issue that affects millions of children worldwide. Various factors contribute to the increase in obesity rates, including dietary habits and lifestyle changes. Obese children are at higher risk for developing physical and psychological diseases. The study aims to determine the prevalence of obesity and overweight among primary school children in the city of Misurata.
Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted in six primary schools around the municipality of Misurata, 415 apparently healthy children (aged 6-13 years) were included in the study. The study was conducted in the period from 6 December to 31 December 2023. Anthropometric measurements were taken by well-trained intern doctors. We used the Body Mass Index (BMI) percentile calculator for children of the United States Center for Disease Control (CDC) to calculate the Body Mass Index.
Results: The number of children involved in the study was 415, out of them 191 were boys (46%), and 224 were girls (54%). The mean age was 9.17 years and ranged from 6 years to 13 years. The interpretation of BMI showed that 274 children (66%) were average weight, 41 (9.9%) were underweight, 44 (10.6%) were overweight, 39 (9.4%) were obese and 17 (4.1%) were severely obese.
Conclusion: The prevalence of childhood obesity in Misurata is alarming. Collaborative Efforts to develop comprehensive approaches to fight such obesity rates should be adopted.
