Abstract... Plato is considered the first philosopher who presented the interpretation of the aesthetic phenomenon, as he singled out the study as a complementary value to the values of morality and goodness. He invented the term Imitation and established the theory of simulation in art and then laid its rules for his student Aristotle. Art was considered a simulation of nature and transcendence over it and not an imitation of it, as Plato claimed. This theory considered as a basis for study and a source of philosophical thought throughout history and until our time.
