Libyan women's reliance on Libyan satellite channels to shape their attitudes toward marriage to foreigners: A field study.

Abstract

The study aimed to identify the degree of Libyan women’s reliance on Libyan satellite channels in shaping their attitudes towards Libyan women marrying foreigners. The study was applied to a sample of Libyan women of different educational levels and jobs. The researcher used the descriptive approach based on an electronic questionnaire to obtain the information and data required for the study. The study reached a number of results, the most important of which is that the opposing trend towards Libyan women marrying foreigners, based on the attitude formed among the respondents as a result of watching Libyan satellite channels, recorded a percentage of 50%, while the percentage of the supportive trend reached only 35.3%, while the neutral trend reached a percentage of 14.7%.
